I didn't receive my magic link. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder. Magic links sometimes end up there. If you still don't see it, try requesting a new link.

Do I need to know anything about tarot to use this?

No. You don't need to know the meanings, the history, or the symbolism. You just need to be willing to look at a card and notice what you see. That's it.

What if I don't know what a card means?

Good. That's the point. You're not supposed to know. You're supposed to look at the image and respond to it. What do you notice? What does it remind you of? Your meaning is the meaning.

Isn't this an incomplete way to learn tarot?

It's a different way. Traditional tarot asks you to learn a system first, then apply it. This method asks you to develop your own understanding through practice, then compare it to the tradition if you want. Neither is wrong. This one is more sustainable for most people.

Can I use my own deck?

The app uses the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. If you want to pull from a physical deck alongside the app, you can—just journal whatever card you draw.

How is this different from other tarot apps?

Most tarot apps give you a card and tell you what it means. Card Ritual gives you a card and asks what you see. The interpretation is yours. The app is just a container for your practice.

Do you believe tarot can predict the future?

No. Tarot is a mirror, not a crystal ball. The cards reflect what's already in you. The practice develops your ability to notice and interpret—skills that help you navigate life, but not predict it.

What if I miss a day?

Start again tomorrow. The practice doesn't require perfection. It requires return.
